The good news from last week's game: We have been insulted, but the lone injury, Christian Hackenberg's bruised shoulder, appears ephemeral; the precocious neophyte was not listed on Bill O'Brien's injury report, nor were there any indications that he was limited in practice. Penn State ought to be with its signal-caller for the showdown with the Illini tomorrow. As such, Penn State proceeds at something approximating full health. save for the four players who've either not suited up all season (Messrs. Bars, Wilkerson) or been declared out since the opener (Lehman).
As far as the depth chartery goes, one more reminder that you oughtn't take it as gospel. Despite replacing Trevor Williams at corner a week ago, and despite Bill O'Brien's insistence that he will remain at corner for the foreseeable future, Adrian Amos is still listed at safety on the official depth chart. Even though Jesse Della Valle started against Ohio State, he's listed as a third-teamer. I've left the depth chart intact, but bear in mind these inconsistencies. Aside from the running back position, little has changed, at least officially.
