BSD MVP Week 12 - Zach Zwinak and Bill Belton

Or Bich Zwinton. Or Zall Beltak. Whatever you want.

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

This is what we were supposed to see coming into the season: Zach Zwinak runs over people, Bill Belton runs around people, Penn State shreds teams on the ground, and wins. Sounds simple enough, right?

Unfortunately, due to issues fumbling the ball and inconsistent play, Penn State hasn't had a rushing performance like this from its two star running back since its September 21 matchup with Kent State.

Zwinak continues to bounce back from his fumbling issues earlier in the year and posted his second consecutive 100+ yard performance, running for 149 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries. Belton ran for 81 yards and a TD on 19 carries, which isn't as much of a slight on Belton as it is a testament to how well Zwinak has ran lately. Congratulations, gentlefolk, you two are BSD's Week 12 MVP's.

Also Considered:

Allen Robinson - If you break a record, you deserve some type of special recognition. Robinson broke the Penn State record for receptions in a season, and has hauled in 81 total catches this year. This broke the record held by...well, himself. He caught 77 catches last year. We've mentioned that he's very good, right?

Sam Ficken - $ammy Franchise made all six of his PAT's, drilled his one FG attempt from 29 yards out, and made about as big of a hit on a returner that you'll see from a kicker not named Pat McAfee.

Adam Breneman - He caught the first TD pass of his career. Here's to many, many more.
