Since Matt Lehman's season-ending knee injury in the opener against Syracuse, Penn State's been fortunate enough to avoid any other key pieces missing significant amounts of time. Some guys have been banged up, and have missed a game or two, or played below 100%, but for a team with these kind of depth issues, staying healthy has been a necessary and uncontrollable virtue.
Anyway, that's all a preamble to saying that the injury report remains thin; just the lingering absences of Lehman, Brad Bars, Brent Wilkerson, and DaeSean Hamilton, joined by the day-to-day Akeel Lynch, who tweaked his knee during the loss to Ohio State, without Bill O'Brien feeling the need to tell anyone.
The changes to the depth chart are a week or two overdue: Adrian Amos is finally listed at corner, Jesse Della Valle is starting at safety, and for whatever reason Donovan Smith is in a position battle with Adam Gress. Maybe next week, Ben Kline won't be listed as a third-team linebacker. There are a few changes in the ORs as well, but you'll see those soon enough.
