This was our first attempt at real-esque wrestling photojournalism as fellow wrestler aficionado bscaff got me fully credentialed, so I was there mat-side--and let me tell you, it was a whole new experience.
The most memorable match was Phipps, believe it or not. Wes enjoyed hulking Rothwell high in the air and slamming him to the mat, and two 184 pounders crashing to a raised stage that you're leaning on gets your attention.
