DE Curtis Cothran just faxed his Letter of Intent according to his high school coach.
— Ryan Snyder (@BWISnyder) February 6, 2013
A two-way player in high school, Cothran projects to play defensive end for Penn State. He was recruited by now-defensive coordinator John Butler as they share Philadelphia tied. The Council Rock North HS prospect had 35 tackles and eight sacks on the year according to MaxPreps, but will probably have to bulk up to put up those same stats at the college level as he weighs in at around 230 pounds on most of the recruiting sites.
OMGSTARZ:
247Sports: Three stars (#22 PA prospect based on composite)
Rivals: Three stars (#11 PA prospect)
Scout: Three stars (#35 DE prospect)
Welcome to Happy Valley, Curtis!
