Good things, like 6'2, 235 LB Garth Lakitsky, come to those who wait. As announced by Lackawanna College Athletics on Monday, the 2011 Tamaqua graduate will be enrolling at Dear Old State this summer.
Like a ton of Penn Staters before him, Garth won the AA 215-lb PIAA Championship his senior year at Tamaqua after placing 4th in his junior campaign. He represented PA at the 2011 Dapper Dan Classic, where he wore out the uber-hyped Andrew Campolattano before the now-O$U Buckeye injury default from the match. Despite those great results, Garth initially chose football over wrestling, electing to play ball for the Lackawanna Falcons in 2012. Now, he'll be running on to the football team, and joining the wrestling team as well, despite earlier reports that he had committed to Purdue (as still advertised over at InterMat).

Here's a link to some HUDL highlights, but you need to install Silverlight to watch them. Remember, this was from a couple of years ago, when Silverlight still sounded cool.
And here he is on Flo, whipping the Buckeye.
Hooray, Garth, and welcome.
