We're just 93 days away from kickoff at whatever they call the Meadowlands replacement.

Thanks, guys.
Thanks, guys.

Once again, Spider Caldwell can keep #93 in the closet in 2013. There aren't enough players on the roster to need it. The enforced hibernation of #93 serves a good cause, though. It helps all the world stop pedophilia. So that's nice.

But before all of that misery, an undersized defensive tackle by the name of Brandon Noble donned the #93 for the Nittany Lions. Noble terrorized the interior of opposing offensive lines with quickness, and used his superior hand-work and surprising strength to stuff the run, on his way to an All Big Ten 1st Team career. From there, he spent a year in NFL Europe, playing for the Barcelona Dragons, before making his first NFL squad with the preeminent franchise in all of sport: the Dallas Cowboys, America's Team. After three seasons with the Pokes, Brandon returned to his hometown Washington Redskins, playing until 2005 when a couple of serious injuries cut short his pro career. Now, Brandon is known as Coach Noble, in his first year as the defensive line coach of the Temple Owls.
