With 81 days to go until Penn State football, we feature Adam Breneman, the incoming freshman who decided to stick with his Penn State commitment through thick and thin once the NCAA handed down their sanctions to Penn State. Breneman was one of the lynchpins of the 2013 recruiting class along with quarterback Christian Hackenberg and helped to keep the class together when the world seemed to be imploding on Penn State.
Breneman was not able to play during his senior year of high school at Cedar Cliff due to an ACL injury, but hopes to be ready to take the field at Beaver Stadium this fall in the #81 jersey. As a tight end in Bill O'Brien's offense, we should hear a lot of his name over the next four or five years.
Other notable #81's from Penn State's past include Michael Haynes, Kyle Brady and Mike McCloskey.
