Mike Munchak was a two-year starter for the Nittany Lions (missed his junior season with an injury) and was named a second-team All-American during his senior year and was drafted in the first round by the Houston Oilers in the 1982 NFL Draft. Munchak would play for the Oilers for 12 seasons, being named All-Pro on nine separate occasions. In 2001, he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is currently the head coach for the franchise, but of course, they are now known as the Tennessee Titans.
No one from the spring roster is wearing #78 but recent graduate Mike Farrell was the latest one to don the number.
