Only Garry Gilliam Until Penn State Football

USA TODAY Sports

Up until this spring, Garry Gilliam busted his ass after multiple knee injuries to make an impact at the tight end position. Now, he'll continue to do so, albeit about 30 pounds heavier, at offensive tackle. The move inside and his number switch allow him to be featured today with 77 days left to go until Penn State and Syracuse face off.

Last year, Gilliam caught seven passes for 65 yards and this year he stands as the backup left tackle and should push Adam Gress for reps at the position. If you follow him on Twitter, you know that he's the ultimate Penn State football player as he lets everyone know how hard he works on the field and in the classroom. He's certainly a Lion that we all can be proud of.

Good luck this year, Garry!
