Six feet and five inches. Three hundred and twenty seven pounds. At only nineteen years old, Donovan Smith is a mountain of a man, a mass of a human being. And for wearing number 76, he's the next featured Penn Stater as we count down the days until kickoff.
Smith redshirted his freshman year after a high school senior season where he was named a U.S. Army All-American and a consensus four star recruit. Last year under offensive line coach Mac McWhorter's tutelage, Smith blossomed into Penn State's starting left tackle. This year, as a redshirt sophomore, Smith is one of the Nittany Lion's top returning players, and is expected to be one of the top offensive lineman in the conference.
Good luck Donovan!
