Todd Moules came to PSU out of Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, PA, a two-way lineman, and became a part of perhaps the most exciting time to be associated with Penn State football.
His freshman season just happened to coincide with Joe Paterno's first recognized national championship, and he help lay the groundwork for the coach's second; he was a captain on the 1985 squad that went undefeated in the regular season and inspired his former teammates to stalwartly defeat the Miami Hurricanes to cap off the 1986 season.
Moules was the only member of the 1982 Penn State recruiting class to not redshirt his freshman year; therefore, he was the only one to not be a teammate on that undefeated national championship team--but he did end up with a share of the victory, as a graduate assistant on the squad.
