Only Dave Robinson Until Penn State Football

When a young child begins tossing the football around his backyard, he can only dream of having a career like Dave Robinson. The former two-way end for the blue and white has accomplished just about everything and anything one can achieve on a football field. He was a three-time letterwinner at Penn State. In 1962 he was selected as a first-team All-American and was also named MVP of the Gator Bowl. He was a first round draft choice by the Green Bay Packers, where he helped them win the NFL Championship in 1965, as well as Super Bowls I and II the next two seasons. Robinson was selected to three Pro Bowls, was named All-Pro twice, and was also honored on the 1960s All-Decade team. He played under the iconic Vince Lombardi in the NFL, and was coached by an assistant at Penn State who would go on to become the winningest coach in the history of major college football. If that's not enough, Robinson will be inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame on August 3rd.
