Chris Colasanti arrived at Penn State, as a 4 star recruit (According to Rivals) out of Lakeville, Michigan. He became a starter in 2010, his senior season, and performed admirably. He racked up 112 total tackles, 8.5 of them for a loss in his senior season. While he may not have lived up to his very high recruiting ranking, he still proved to be a valuable asset to the team, providing senior leadership for the very young 2010 team, along with consistent production. He was also named a First Team Academic All-American that season.
2010 also happened to be my first year at Penn State, and therefore, my first year of paying attention to the football team. Colasanti's name was one that was etched into my mind right away, thanks to his consistency always finding him near the ball. Thanks for helping introduce me to Penn State Football, Chris.
