Only Ty Howle Until Penn State Football

Fifth-year senior Ty Howle came to Happy Valley from Wake Forest, NC as part of the 2009 recruiting class. He graduated in 3.5 years with a 3.59 GPA; earned Academic All Big Ten in 2010, 2011, and 2012; served as Head of Operations for Uplifting Athletes for two years; handled short snaps (the field goals) in 2010 and 2011; and split time at guard last year after battling back from a leg injury in training camp.

In his final season at Penn State, Howle moves into the pivot vacated by All Big Ten performer Stank. Rostered at 6', 295 lbs, the less than 6' Howle looks tailor-made for the phone booth position on the O-line. His quick feet, hands, and mind should serve him well at Center, as he looks to cap a great career at Dear Old State.
