Only Glenn Carson Until Penn State Football

Glenn Carson will enter some rarefied air this season, his third as the starting middle linebacker for the Nittany Lions. If he can stay on the field (knock on wood), he'll join Paul Posluszny, Dan Connor and Tim Shaw as the only linebackers since '03 to start for three consecutive seasons. Carson returns as the leading tackler on a defense that will need to replace some leadership, and who better to step up than a Butkus Award watch-lister who also happens to be a two-time all-B1G academic selection?
