Dan Morgan (1982 - 1986) came to Happy Valley from St. Clairsville, Ohio, as a tight end. The 6'6", 230-lber redshirted his first season on campus, and moved to defensive end his second year. In his third season at Penn State, now weighing 270 lbs, Morgan returned to the offensive side of the ball. As a senior, Morgan took a spot in the line-up as long guard, paving the way for DJ Dozier, Steve Smith, and Tim Manoa on the 1986 National Champion squad. Morgan was selected by the Denver Broncos in the 8th Round of the 1987 draft.
