Penn State Garners Seven Points In Week Three AP Poll

Three voters put the Nittany Lions in their Top 25.

Penn State received seven points from three voters in this week's Associated Press Top 25 which places them as the 36th-best team in the nation according to media members involved in the polling. Voters that included the Lions on their ballots this week are Scott Wolf from the Los Angeles Daily News who ranked Penn State 21st as well as Adam Zucker of CBS Sports and Bob Asmussen from the Champaign News-Gazette who put Penn State as #25.

Ohio State and Michigan both crack the poll's top-15 coming in at fourth and eleventh, respectively. Also in the top-25 are Northwestern (17th), Wisconsin (20th) and Nebraska (23rd). Michigan State and Illinois also received votes this week.
