The man who was widely known as James Franklin's most important assistant coach will be joining the Penn State coaching staff. Hand was seen as a potential candidate for the Vanderbilt head coaching job until Derek Mason was awarded the job a few days ago, and Mason tried to keep him in Nashville. Hand has a great reputation, and should be a great asset not only on the field, but in the recruiting game as well.
