We'll continue to bring you any updates as they come in, but feel free to use this thread to discuss any opinions you guys might have, as the Penn State coaching search seems poised to slow down a bit after a whirlwind Friday. To make sure we're all on the same page, here's what we know so far:
- Larry Johnson wants the job, and his players want him to get the job.
- James Franklin is slated to interview Sunday. Here's Bill's endorsement of Franklin.
- Al Golden's meeting? Probably today. Has he been offered the job yet? Depends who you ask. Cari wrote our endorsement of Golden.
- Have no fear: Penn State's next head coach won't be Greg Schiano.
- It won't be Mike Munchak either, as he'll be sticking around with the Titans next season.
- We also made the case for David Cutcliffe and Pat Narduzzi, but neither seems to be a focus of the search committee.
I think that's about it. No matter what, this is a bit more fun and hectic than last time around, huh?
