Well, that was fun, wasn't it?
After a night of planegate, or whatever clever nickname is out there, we ended up with this:
Joyner sighting. No Franklin, though. pic.twitter.com/Pg7X4npxoN

Later last night, though, Donnie Collins of the Scranton Times-Tribune reported that Vanderbilt Head Coach James Franklin had been extended an official offer. On the heels of multiple reports earlier in the week that Franklin would likely accept if offered (along with conventional wisdom that suggests that Penn State wouldn't likely offer him the position were it not confident that he'd accept), today may very well be the day.
As for that plane? Well, former BSD staffer and current StateCollege.com writer (and current internet pariah) Ben Jones has a theory:
Have almost all of the passengers on Penn State's plan ID'd. Not search committee members. This was a follow up.

Don't plan on getting any work done yet, guys.
