Note: The Redzone TD% and Redzone TD% Defense are calculated by me and not ranked by the NCAA. Determining who has the advantage in these categories is strictly my arbitrary judgment.
Quick thoughts: Punting, red zone, and sacks.
Those are the clear areas of weakness for Penn State going into this week's matchup with Maryland, and though the defense played against one of the best offenses in the nation last week, their stats barely suffered--they're still top ten in scoring, total, and rush D, and the PSU passing defense actually improved quite a bit. This is a Penn State defense of old, and if they're even remotely on point, the Terrapins should suffer for it.
Now, if only the Penn State offense can build on what it started in the fourth quarter in the white out and capitalize...
What do you guys think?
