Black Shoe Podcast - Penn State vs. Maryland, with special guest Sean Davis!

Somehow, the #BlackShoePodcast is both heartbroken and encouraged by Saturday's loss to Ohio State! Today on Blog Talk Radio, (@AdamCollyer), Cari (@NotCarlotta), Bill (@bflip33), and former Penn State cornerback Stephon Morris (@s_morris12)talk dominant defense, a near upset, and...ahem...questionable officiating practices. PLUS, the crew discuss the return of the Maryland-Penn State rivalry, and are lucky enough to be joined by Maryland starting safety Sean Davis (@umdsfinest21)!

Some highlights:

• Adam, much like two years ago after the Nebraska game, rants about the atrociously embarrassing Big Ten officiating.  Cari, back in peak form, agrees.  Bill continues the rage.
• Steph's not happy either, and gives the player perspective.
• Discussion about officiating should not take anything away from the terrific game that occurred on Saturday night.  Both teams were tough, talented.  Penn State's defense, led by Mike Hull and Anthony Zettel, proved their side is one of the best in the nation.
• Steph's main man Marcus Allen took over for an injured Ryan Keiser, and played well.  The hosts agree that Maryland and New Jersey recruits come to play.  #DominateTheRegion
• Maryland junior safety Sean Davis joins the show to give us a Terp's-eye view and answers questions from staff and the #BSP family.
• Steph's dad tries to get rivalry juice going early between Steph and Sean - who's the fastest?
• Sean tells us about transitioning to the Big Ten, why he selected Maryland, whether he's excited to play in Beaver Stadium, and what it's like to play for Randy Edsall
• Shout outs to Ryan Keiser and Zach Zwinak, two seniors who gave everything to the university during a tumultuous period.  We'll miss you guys on the field and wish you all the best.
