As bscaff mentioned earlier today, Nebraska has circled this game. Since the Huskers joined the Big Ten, of course, it's become the premiere conference for women's volleyball in the nation; as it stands right now, though, they're not even the number two team in the B1G--that honor goes to last year's NCAA runner up, Wisconsin, whom the Nittany Lions dominated in straight sets to kick off the conference season a little over a week ago.
Right now, the Huskers sit at #8 nationally, with three losses--all at home (!!!)--to #2 Texas (in five sets), #5 Florida State (in four), and #1 Stanford (in straights). Your Lions, of course, are 14-1 on the year, with the lone loss coming in a heartbreaking five-setter to the Cardinal in Palo Alto.
How will Micha Hancock (#BOOM), and Co face in the now-not-so-intimidating Husker Arena? Join us tonight as we watch BTN live at 8, to find out!
If you don't have BTN, you can follow along on Nebraska's game tracker here.
