Four years of hard work have paid off for two Nittany Lions as it was announced today that linebacker Mike Hull and safety Adrian Amos have accepted invitations to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl which takes place January 24, 2015.
Hull, who was named to the Bednarik Watch List earlier this year but failed to make the cut as a semifinalist, has 99 or 101 tackles, depending on your source of information, to go along with a couple of sacks and an interception on the year. He's surely a candidate for both Big Ten Linebacker and Defensive Player of the Year honors for his 2014 performance.
Amos, who has been quieter than in years past, has settled in at safety after playing some cornerback throughout his Penn State career, is tied for the team lead with two interceptions while making big hits on pass completions or charging into the backfield from the secondary.
With Hull and Amos accepting invitations, Penn State have now had 110 players participate in the Senior Bowl.
Congratulations to both Mike and Adrian!
