Does winning cure all ills? Well . . . maybe. This week on the #BlackShoePodcast, Adam (@AdamCollyer), Cari (@NotCarlotta), Bill (@bflip33), and former Penn State cornerback Stephon Morris (@s_morris12) are relieved over snapping a winless streak, dismayed over the offensive performance, and baffled by Penn State's goal line execution. The fearsome foursome also preview this weekend's game against Temple, and talk to junior cornerback Tavon Young (more here)!
The fun stuff:
- Steph makes it for the intro this week!
- Everyone is astounded by how well the defense is playing. Steph loves watching them fly around. Everyone compliments Bob Shoop. Adam and Bill beg Penn State to pay the man so that he doesn't leave for a new head coaching gig.
- Everyone is astounded by the offense. Adam makes 2004 comparisons. Steph thought last week was the time for the offense to break out, but they were stuck in the mud again.
- Adam congratulates Bill Belton on his record breaking run. That's about all there is to the offensive highlights of this game.
- The crew welcomes Tavon Young, Temple's junior corner, to the show! Tavon agrees to play nice, shake hands, and be a good dude. He talks Temple's defense, the Penn State coaching connections, and expectations for playing in Beaver Stadium this weekend. Also, he tells us that Beaver Stadium is much louder than Notre Dame, which is always nice to hear.
- Everyone makes their picks. The line is PSU -11.5. The over/under is an astounding 39 points. Under all the way.
