One of the first verbals from the Class of 2014, Troy Apke will now officially provide some much-needed speed and depth to Penn State's wide receiver corps for the next few years. Despite being a Pitt legacy, the Mt. Lebanon (PA) product never waivered on his commitment to the Nittany Lions, even when the original staff he committed to play for dissolved after Bill O'Brien's departure to the NFL.
Troy will have to battle to earn his spot, as he will be joining the Nittany Lions along with Saeed Blacknall, Chris Godwin, and De'Andre Thompkins. That doesn't mean he's not up for the challenge.
