What a stomach punch. We figured to get off the schneid against the Buckeyes last week, and notch our first official Big Ten conference victory (last year's wins over Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Ohio State don't count). I even wrote it in pixels that you could carve it into the ice, it was going to happen.
I forgot it was on the road. Wow, have we struggled on the road. But let us not discuss last week's venture west any further.
Fortunately, we're back home this week. On a down note - we get yet another top-10 squad. This weekend's pair will be out 11th and 12th games against top-10 foes in our last 17. A whole schedule against nothing but hockey elite! Woooo! (This would be more awesome if we weren't in our 2nd year of Div1 play, but I digress).
