Joining yesterday's cover boy, Evan Schwan will be a part of the Nittany Lion defensive end depth this season. Although Schwan didn't see very much action in 2013, his redshirt freshmen season, he still picked up four tackles with 0.5 tackles for loss. As I mentioned yesterday, the plan for the defensive line is not entirely clear at this point, so we don't really know how often the backups are going to end up playing in this year's version of the defense. However, don't count Schwan out for seeing some time this season, as he is the type of player who will work as hard as he can in the weight room to earn the adulation of his coaching staff.

Schwan is a former three star recruit out of Central Dauphin High School who held offers from a few other familiar names in Rutgers and Iowa. He will continue to try and use his great size (6'6") to his advantage, and work his way into the minds of Penn State fans everywhere. Good luck this season, Evan.

94 days everyone.
