New Jersey athlete Myles Hartsfield has committed to #PennState as a cornerback. http://t.co/5Xc2EpXk8h

Hartsfield picked up his Penn State offer back in March while unofficially visiting campus. There had been some debate whether or not the staff would accept Myles' commitment as the 2015 class fills up, but while on campus for a camp, he pulled the trigger. In recent weeks it became clear that Hartsfield was down to the Lions, as well as Rutgers. In fact, the 247Sports.com Crystal Ball rankings were 100% in favor of the Scarlet Knights. Oh, the RU meltdown is going to be fun!
Outlook:
It doesn't take a long look at Myles' highlights to see he is a tremendous athlete. In fact, he recently won the New Jersey Meet of Champions triple jump at over 50 feet. I'm no track and field expert, but I think that's really good. He will begin his Penn State career at cornerback, but I would not be at all surprised to see him move around, especially early on, while he finds his niche. As it stands now, Myles will join Jarvis Miller, and Ayron Monroe as secondary commits in the Class of 2015, with the previous two commitments projected as safeties.
You can follow Monroe on twitter at @_Lil_Smooth.
Monroe's commitment brings the class back to 16 after Josh Barajas' recent decommit. The class could grow again soon with Virginia OL Grant Newsome deciding between PSU and Michigan perhaps as early as this week
Welcome to Penn State, Myles!
