Penn State is, of course, known affectionately as "Linebacker U," and if "Defensive Tackle U" didn't sound so clunky they might lay claim to that moniker too. The Nittany Lions have had a first-team All-B1G selection (as selected by either the coaches or the media) at DT in five of the last six seasons. The only exception was in 2010, when Ollie Ogbu was chosen for the second-team.
Jordan Hill, is of course, one of the members of that group - his all-conference 2012 season was capped with a 12-tackle, 2-sack performance in the "Bunch of F*ckers Fighters" game against Wisconsin. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, where he immediately became a Super Bowl champion. Hill made just seven tackles during the regular season, often relegated to the sideline due to Seattle's talented defensive line. He should get his chance in 2014 though, and I'm sure Chris will pop into the comments and tell us why he'll make the Pro Bowl. Not that we're rooting for anything less around here.
47 days until Penn State football.
