Woodland Hills (Pa.) Class of 2016 Top247 RB Miles Sanders has committed to Penn State. http://t.co/liilZiCy7P

Sanders has been a priority for James Franklin practically since his arrival at Penn State in January. He visited the junior-to-be in late January, and Miles has been a frequent visitor to Happy Valley as well, with this weekend marking his fourth time on campus.
This weekend, he made his way back to Central PA with some of his Woodland Hills teammates, and gave his verbal commitment to Franklin, Terry Smith, and Charles Huff, making him the first member of the Class of 2016.
Outlook:
While Class of 2016 rankings will surely change over the coming months...and years, there is little doubt Sanders is going to be one of the top players in Pennsylvania. The 247 Composite ranks him 4th overall in the state, and the 10th running back nationally. Pitt and Michigan have both offered, and Ohio State and Michigan State were showing significant interest as well. Plucking arguably the top 2016 player in Western PA this early will be key moving forward with the class. Plus we get to make plenty of jokes about some wall around PIttsburgh.
For a young player, Sanders has very impressive patience with the ball, and uses his size very well.

Welcome to Penn State, Miles!
