Only Brian Gelzhesier Until Penn State Football

Usually, when he 1994 Penn State football team is discussed, you rarely hear about the defensive stars on that team. Today, we're going to help correct that by recognizing linebacker Brian Gelzheiser, who racked up his second consecutive 100+ tackle season in '94. Aside from leading Linebacker-U, Gelzheiser also helped to anchor a defense that was able to come up with critical stops in the final minutes of tight finishes at Michigan and Illinois on the road that season. He is also currently the program's fifth-leading tackler of all-time (315 tackles).
