PSU Commits with Michigan Visits: The Elephant In the Room
This weekend, Jim Harbaugh tried to pull some Khaki Devil Magic. Penn State's two recruits from the mitten, Detroit Martin Luther King cornerback Lavert Hill and Rockford kicker Quinn Nordin, took official visits to Michigan for the Wolverines' game against Sparty. There has been radio silence for the most part, and even the rumor mill is generally a bit mixed. If either were to flip, that'd probably come later on.
Hopefully the horrifying and overwhelming sadness that infected The Big House after that heartbreaking last-second loss keeps Hill and Nordin on the path to University Park. If they don't, that's fine. High school kids reserve the right to change their minds and the college decision they're trying to make is infinitely harder and more pressure-filled than yours was, and remember how hard that was? I'm applying to law school right now and I feel like I'm picking between favorite children so. Obligatory "don't tweet at recruits" speech here.
Miles Sanders Is Ridiculous, Part Infinity
Sneak peek at Saturday's cover featuring @WoodyHigh's Miles Sanders (@BoobieMiles_4). Story: http://t.co/g3BL8ccUjb pic.twitter.com/3a7tHKbrw6

Miles Sanders ran for 234 yards on 17 carries. That's almost 14 yards per carry. I've run out of amazing things to say about Miles Sanders. Imagine him and Sa-Sa sharing a backfield next year. Good lord.
Oh, and Miles is about to join a rushing yardage club that includes LaVar Arrington, so that's cool. Though I believe that year should be 1996. Please don't end up like the real Boobie, Miles.
PSU commit @BoobieMiles_4 264 yards away from 4,000 in WPIAL AAAA. First to do it in Quad A? @LaVarArrington at North Hills in 1987.

Jake Zembiec Loves Pancakes
The future Nittany Lion quarterback from upstate New York, threw a pretty nice block in a game this weekend. It was also near-certainly a penalty, but who cares, BLOCKS BLOCKS!

Speaking of Quarterbacks
Here's a beautiful #B1G recruit connection, from 2017 Penn State commit QB Sean Clifford to 2016 MSU commit Tight End Noah Davis. Man, Hack should really ask to borrow Clifford's line.
Nice catch and run by #Spartans TE commit Noah Davis from #PennState commit Sean Clifford. https://t.co/NjEVoLLDiB

Damar Hamlin likes us, he really likes us!
Pittsburgh Central Catholic cornerback (FOUR STARZ!) Damar Hamlin said his top four includes Pitt, Penn State, Ohio State, and Notre Dame. He's also considering UCLA and Clemson. If Lavert Hill flips, expect Franklin and co. to push hard for Hamlin. Hell, they should and will even if Hill stays.
Give me all of the explosive PA running backs, please.
Watch D'Andre Swift, currently 24/7's #25 player in the country and #1 both in PA and at RB for 2017, just absolutely make fools of some presumably very nice high school students. Poor kids. Swift's crystal ball is 75% for Penn State, and 25% for Florida State. Let's hope those odds stick.
