We apologize for skipping this post last week, but we're back to recap all of the notable actions of Penn State alumni in the National Football League's week four.
All Gould Does is Win
Robbie Gould continued his strong 2015 with a 3-3 performance (including the game-winner for Chicago). Gould has now made all nine of his field goal attempts this season, including three from beyond 50 yards. The man who is currently seventh all-time in the NFL in field goal percentage has been a rock for the Bears during a season in which not much else has gone right.
Sean Lee Got Hurt Again
Lee left the Cowboys' loss to the Saints with a concussion. Word is that it doesn't seem like something terribly serious at the moment, but he'll still need to clear the NFL's concussion protocol before getting back on the field. Tough break for Lee and the Cowboys, who will probably be starting third stringers at every position by week seven.
Nate Stupar is Killin' it
It took Stupar a few stops in the NFL before catching on, but he's found a home with Dan Quinn and the Atlanta Falcons. As a special teams ace and recently a fill-in linebacker, Stupar has accounted for 13 tackles so far this season. On Sunday though, he finally put his name on the scoring sheet, after he scooped and scored for an 84 yard touchdown to drive the nail through the Texans' hearts.
