Report: 2016 4-Star QB Brandon McIlwain is Visiting Penn State on Saturday

I received confirmation via text this morning that Penn Stat target, 2016 4* dual-threat quarterback, Brandon McIlwain, is visiting Penn State this weekend. McIlwain was a primary target for Penn State previously, but chose to commit to South Carolina, instead.

There is still word that Penn State is interested in taking two quarterbacks in the class of 2016, so McIlwain is definitely still a target. With South Carolina currently without a permanent head coach after the retirement of Steve Spurrier, it would appear that McIlwain has started looking around, a least somewhat.

You have to like Penn State's chances if he does decide to flip. The Nittany Lions were in his top two before he committed, and he plays for Council Rock North high school, in Pennsylvania.
