With things starting to take shape, it looks like Penn State's chances of going to the Foster Farms Bowl are decreasing. In its place are two other bowl games for Big Ten teams in the 5-7 range: the Music City Bowl and the TaxSlayer Bowl. Nashville or Jacksonville, baby. It's every backup NFL QB's nightmare.
As for the matchups, we've touched on Georgia more than enough, Ole Miss would be a fun game, Arkansas would be ugly as hell but still generally entertaining (especially if BERT TEARS), and Utah would be cold vomit on a paper dish. The game I'd most look forward to, though, is the one we haven't seen on this list before: LSU. Not only is Leonard Fournette a great test for the Nittany Lion run defense, but there's about a 75 percent chance that the Tigers wouldn't have Les Miles on the sidelines for this game, so we'd get to see a Bob Shoop defense against a Cam Cameron offense. That seems like it would be a good time.
So, per usual, I ask: which of these possible matchups do you think would be the most fun?
