New Defensive Tackle Target?
Haskell Garrett (Las Vegas, NV) is the 82nd ranked player in the country, and the #3 defensive tackle in the class of 2017. Penn State offered him on October 15th. Garrett released his top five a mere 14 days after that.

It's hard to tell what kind of chance Penn State actually has with Garrett at this point, but his inclusion of the Nittany Lions is fascinating, particularly when you consider the rest of his top five (Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Oklahoma). Surely Penn State will be doing all it can to get him on campus. We'll follow this intriguing situation closely over the next year.
Penn State's Future Punter and Others Check out Happy Valley
2016 Penn State punting commit, Blake Gillikin, was finally able to make his way to Happy Valley last weekend for a visit. He got a chance to see the Lions' best performance of the season, and one that still featured less than ideal punting.

He had a chance to check out another premiere Penn State sport, as well.

Also making the trip was three-star 2017 QB Kasim Hill (Gilman, MD). Hill has been in State College quite a bit over the last calendar year, and Lions247 caught up with him after the weekend.

Finally, Khaleke Hudson was also in town. Hudson picked up a huge Michigan offer earlier in the week, so Penn State will probably have to come to a decision relatively soon on whether or not they truly want to pursue Hudson to join their 2016 class.

Also of note, four-star Pittsburgh cornerback Damar Hamlin was on-hand to see the Lions blow away the Illini. Lions247 was able to catch up with him, as well, to get the breakdown on his recruitment.
A Very Important Lavert Hill Update
Lavert Hill is still committed to Penn State.
Miles Sanders and Lavert Hill are too Good for High School
Thanks to a 193 yard, 1 touchdown effort last week, Miles Sanders broke the 4,000 yard mark for his Woodland Hills career (the 9th WPIAL player to do so). This kid a straight-up stud.
Not to be outdone, Lavert Hill (the Penn State commit) busted out a Beast Mode-like kick return that you need to see to believe.

Michael Dwumfour is in Scout's Spotlight
The Penn State commit was featured by Scout.com in their spotlight this week. Dwumfour's team had a huge win last week, defeating five-star Rashan Gary and Paramus Catholic.

Four-star cornerback JoeJuan Williams (Hendersonville, TN) caught up with Rivals to talk about his recruitment. Williams is scheduled to visit Happy Valley on November 21st for the Michigan game. Penn State will hope to make a huge impression.
