Former Penn State star Tim Frazier will get the start for the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night. Starting point guard Damian Lillard will miss his first-ever NBA game due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot, and one of the team's other backup point guards, CJ McCollum, will miss the game due to bilateral ankle sprains.
It won't be Tim Frazier's first start, as he received one while with the Philadelphia 76ers last season, but it will be his first as a member of the Blazers.
Frazier has played sparingly in the early 2015/2016 season, appearing in just three games thus far. In the one game in which Frazier has received more than five minutes of playing time this year, Tim registered 5 points and 1 assist on 2/3 shooting.
Tune in to watch Frazier and the Blazers take on the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, at 8:00 p.m. ET on CSNNW.
