THON 2015 Open Thread

FTK!

Here it is, the annual weekend where everyone who hates Penn State goes, "you know what, maybe they aren't that bad in Happy Valley." THON is here, and starting at 6:00 p.m., 708 Penn State students will stand up for 46 hours to celebrate the end of a year-long fundraising effort.

While I didn't dance, my roommate from last year danced, as have several current and former BSDers. The consensus is that this is the hardest weekend of a dancer's life, that it is both physically and mentally exhausting and by the time it's over, you're beyond completely gassed. However, everyone I know who has been through the physical and mental gauntlet that is THON wouldn't trade the experience for the world.

If you want to donate, here is a link which will help you out. If you want to talk about THON, by all means do it in our comment section below (and if you danced, tell us about it!). If you want to follow along on Twitter, here are a few places you should check out:

@THON

@OnwardState

@THONwardState

@DailyCollegian

@TDC_THON

I'll link to them when they go live, but I'm willing to bet that Onward State and The Daily Collegian will also live blog this weekend.

Finally, feel free to watch as much as THON as you want. The reveal is on Sunday at 4:00 p.m., but as we know, there's a lot of awesome stuff that will occur throughout the weekend that will certainly be worth watching. Per usual, don't do anything you're not supposed to do in the comment section of an open thread. Here's the the stream:
