The BSD Basketbro Show! Episode 1.13: The State of Penn State Basketball

"And now for something completely different"

Matthew O'Haren-USA TODAY Sports

The past few weeks/months have seen a lot of debate among members of the Penn State basketball community. What is up with the Penn State basketball program? Is Pat Chambers the right man to lead the Nittany Lions to the NCAA Tournament? In what ways can the athletic department further support the basketball team, which is something that is apparently going to happen if you trust Sandy Barbour's statement about the program from earlier this week.

Instead of the usual version of the BSD Basketbro Show, Bill (@bflip33), Chad (@Chad_BSD) and Eric (@BSD_Eric) decided to take some time to discuss the state of Penn State hoops. Fortunately, thanks to Eric knowing everyone, this episode of the pod featured a very special guest in PennStateHoops.com owner/founder Tim Beidel, who has forgotten more about PSU hoops than any of us have ever known. There's also a little preview of the Iowa game at the very end -- none of the guys are optimistic about anything, especially in Bill's ability to pronounce names -- but that's kind of an afterthought.

So here you go, check out this week's episode of the pod:
