2015 NCAA Tournament: Saturday's Elite Eight Schedule, TV Information and Open Thread

The regional finals are here, y'all.

Mary Langenfeld-USA TODAY Sports

It's Elite Eight day, y'all. IT'S ELITE EIGHT DAY. WOOOOOOOO.

Game Region Scheduled Tip TV Location

No. 2 Arizona vs. No. 1 Wisconsin

West 6:09 P.M. EST TBS Staples Center (Los Angeles, CA)
No. 3 Notre Dame vs. No. 1 Kentucky Midwest 8:49 P.M. EST TBS Quicken Loans Arena (Cleveland, OH)

And now, my flawless picks for both games:

  • There are, in my opinion, three teams in the country that can beat Kentucky: Arizona, Wisconsin and Duke. Wisconsin and Duke have the offenses to take down Kentucky, Arizona has the defense to get the job done. It's a shame that Kentucky will avoid at least one of those teams by nature of UW and 'Zona playing, but whatever. Anyway, I like Bucky here. I'm not confident in it at all but I think Wisconsin's offense should be able to score on Arizona's defense. Maybe. Give me UW, 68-62.
  • I have Kentucky winning it all, so Kentucky. However, I think Notre Dame can make UK a little uncomfortable. That offense is so incredibly efficient that it should be able to make a few shots against the Wildcats. However (part two), doesn't have the size to deal with the mutants that make up Kentucky's frontline. I'm going to take Kentucky 77-69.

Per usual, if you can't watch the games on the television for whatever reason, you can check out the official NCAA March Madness Live app on your mobile device or your computer.

Here's your open thread for tonight's action. Follow all the usual open thread rules and feel free to talk hoops this evening.
