For an organization (Big 10) and entity (BTN) that are very insistent they are not trying to force a Penn State-BTPR rivalry, they sure seem to be doing a lot of that very thing. For the second straight year, the Lions and Knights will meet under the lights in the league's first conference game of the season. PSU announced the night kickoff on BTN earlier this afternoon.
It's official: Penn State's Sept. 19 Big Ten opener with Rutgers will be a prime time game on BTN, the network has announced.

Last year, PSU provided the opposition for BTPR's inaugural Big 10 football game in Highpoint Solutions Stadium, with Christian Hackenberg leading a 4th quarter, game winning drive to spoil the party in Piscataway. That drive was capped by New Jersey native, and BTPR fan favorite Bill Belton's 5 yard touchdown run with just over one minute left, to put PSU up 13-10. Ryan Keiser would intercept Gary Nova, the fifth of the game Nova, to seal the victory late.
There's no word on the kickoff times for the rest of Penn State's 2015 schedule. We'll keep you posted when more are announced throughout the summer.
