Success With Hyperlinking Has A Sweet Tooth

It's getting hot outside so why not cool down with some sugary Lion links?

It's Ice Cream Weather Again: Check out this interesting story about the life and job of Tom Palchak. The manager of the Berkey Creamery has been on the job for thirty years. His tenure as he describes it has been just peachy.

Penn State Men's Rugby Competes For Another Title In Philadelphia: This Saturday morning the team will take on Arizona in the city of brotherly scrum's PPL Park. You can follow the team here.

PJ Musico Grabs Hardware: The Derek Hines Unsung Hero Award went to a goalie for the first time, as the Icer's Musico was given the honor. While the award was announced a month ago it is nice to acknowledge Derek Hines during Memorial Day week. Hines, a former Army hockey player from 1999-2003, was killed in September of 2005 while fighting in Afghanistan. Initially the #3 goalie, Musico was thrust into duty in net for the Lions this season. His contribution settled the team down and allowed it to finish with the first winning record in the program's division I history.

Dylan Larkin Jumped The Sharkin: The most talented player on the Michigan Wolverine hockey team has decided to bolt to the NHL. Larkin could have returned to the Wolverines and been one of the best players in college hockey. He could have led the team back to national relevance in the waning years of Red Berensen's career. It's likely that Larkin will be a solid NHL player. It's also likely the he will never be considered the best player in his league, or even the team that he plays on, ever again.

For Whom The Bellator Tolls: Former PSU wrestler Ed Ruth has signed a contract to fight in the Bellator MMA league. Ruth will likely wrestle for the U.S. Olympic team next year and then begin his MMA career. Ruth joins recently signed fellow former PSU wrestler Phil Davis in the Bellator ranks.

Using His Chin Dimple To Hold All That Cash: Bill O'Brien made more money in 2013 than any other Penn State employee. He was worth every penny of it and then some. Here's to hoping the coach will win a Super Bowl in the coming years.
