Another 80-something days left until Penn State's season opener, another tight end honored. This tight end however, is arguably the most accomplished amongst the current ones on the roster. Ever since bursting onto the scene as a redshirt freshman in 2012 in Bill O'Brien's tight-end heavy offensive system, Kyle Carter has provided us with no shortage of YouTube-worthy catches, including his most clutch grab of his career in last year's Pinstripe Bowl (pictured, above and seen around the 0:18 mark of the video, below)
As one of only a handful of fifth-year seniors on the roster, Kyle is one of the remaining few current players to have suited up for a Joe Paterno-led team. He is also the lone remaining member of the 'Supa Six' following the departures of Adrian Amos, Bill Belton, Deion Barnes, and Donovan Smith. Look for Kyle's final act in a Blue and White uniform to be a memorable one.
