If you don't follow PSU women's soccer too closely, know that forward/midfielder Raquel Rodríguez is awesome. The senior is the team's captain, and during her downtime she is a member of the Costa Rican women's national team. Today she scored the country's first ever Women's World Cup goal in the squad's match against Spain. It was also her 25th career goal for Costa Rica, which is the most of anyone else on the WWC roster. From a Nittany Lion perspective, it was the first WWC goal ever scored by a Penn Stater. Congrats, Raquel!
