Penn State football's uniforms for this season and the foreseeable future will not have names on the back. Now, they will also have new collars.

For the upcoming season, the team will adopt the "FlyWire" collar style, which has been used by NFL teams. According to Nike.com, the collar is designed to "eliminate layers, reduce weight and provide lockdown fit."

Thankfully, Penn State's fan base has proven that even the most minor uniform changes don't matter in the long run, so we're sure that you won't care about this either.
