Only Garrett Taylor Until Penn State Football

Only 17 more days to go.

If you're looking for someone in Penn State's class of 2015 who is, at the very least, going to be "really good," look no further than Garrett Taylor. I remember watching his tape during our National Signing Day coverage, and he had the unique ability to play anywhere in the secondary and make a serious impact. His floor is "a pretty solid football player who will be an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention" and his ceiling is "daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn."

The best part is no one thought Taylor was going to attend Penn State. He was a Michigan commit who decommitted from the Wolverines on Oct. 27 of 2014, right as the rails were completely coming off of the Maize and Blue. Here's what his Crystal Ball ended up looking like on 247:

One person got this one right, and they made their prediction the day Taylor committed to James Franklin. The Virginia native shocked basically everyone with his decision, and we're excited. Taylor could be so incredibly good, y'all. There's no word on whether or not he redshirts this year – fortunately Penn State has a pretty solid secondary this year and fellow freshman DB commit John Reid has apparently looked spectacular, so Taylor may not be needed in 2015.

We got 17 days left.
