Only Chris Godwin Until Penn State Football

12 days.

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Similar to yesterday's cover boy, Chris Godwin is fresh off of his true freshman campaign. However, Godwin had a more sustained presence in the offense throughout the season. He appeared in all 13 games this past year, grabbing 26 passes for 338 yards and two touchdowns.

Of course, his season reached its crescendo during the Pinstripe Bowl, when Godwin looked every bit like Penn State's number one receiver of the future. He caught seven balls for 140 yards and a touchdown. You may remember that touchdown, it was a big one.

Godwin enters this season as one of the top receiving options for the Nittany Lions, and will likely be on the line of scrimmage for the offense's first play of the season. In fact, there are plenty of people on our staff that think Godwin is in line for a breakout season.

Also wearing number 12 for Penn State this season will be junior cornerback, Jordan Smith.
