Only Malik Golden Until Penn State Football

Just six more days until Penn State faces off against the Temple Owls to kickoff the 2015 season!

Malik Golden is poised to make a big impact at safery in 2015 following the departures of Jesse De La Valle and Ryan Keiser. Golden has gained extremely valuable experience in the secondary during his first two seasons of eligibility, and is primed to see plenty of action this fall, especially against the more pass-friendly foes.

The Hartford, CT standout began his Penn State career at wide receiver as a redshirt freshman, before ultimately switching to safety. Golden performed well throughout the first eight games of the 2014 season in a reserve role before being forced to miss the remainder of the season with an undisclosed injury. There's little doubt that Golden is itching to finally get back on the field on Sept. 5 and knock some heads in. It should be a joy to watch.
